How to Tell if Your Pet Is in Pain
Pets cannot speak, of course, so we as humans must find other ways to detect signs they might be in pain so you can determine whether it’s time to see the vet for a wellness check or inquire about laser therapy.
Tell-tale signs of an animal in pain include:
- Vocalizations when moving
- Excessive restlessness
- Abnormal postures while relaxing
- Limping
- Difficulty lying down or getting up
- Excessive licking of a specific area
- Trouble going up and down stairs
- Inability to get into your vehicle
- Trembling or shaking
- They act depressed, such as they don’t wag their tail, or they have low appetite
If you notice any of these signs in your pet, it’s important to see a veterinarian to find out if your pet may benefit from treatments such as laser therapy. Our friendly, knowledgeable veterinary staff will be happy to answer your questions and address any of your concerns.
