I’ve been going to this vet for a few years now and I absolutely love it there! The staff is so kind and helpful and I always feel like they are taking great care of my dog. I think the pricing is so reasonable and during Covid they make the process really easy and professional. You definitely will not regret coming here! Such a wonderful place!

I had been going to this place way back when it was Community Vet with Dr. Birr and it was good. Then it got sold and changed to SweetHome and it became great. I just cannot say enough good things about Dr. Swope. I have been taking all 6 of my animals to her now and I can not be happier. She is the most empathetic and sympathetic veterinarian I’ve ever dealt with in 25 years of being a pet owner. She knows what she’s doing. She really knows animals. She doesn’t push tests on you that you don’t need. She’s very honest with you. She goes above and beyond to ensure your animals get the best and the right care. And when it comes time to say goodbye, I honestly could not have asked for a more caring person to help me make that decision. When I had to put my 18 year-old cat Max down, Dr. Swope did something so above and beyond that touched my heart so deeply, it’s hard to put in to words the gratitude I felt. The staff is very good there. Gisela, particularly, in the front, is always a pleasure to deal with. She is very cheerful and friendly and sympathetic and so helpful. I find their pricing to be very competitive and they will work with you. Plus they have Fiona and Shrek, the office cats and Noodle, Dr. Swope’s cat, who greets you with boops and belly rubs and who could ask for more?? (Of course, that’s when we are not in a pandemic and can go in to the waiting room!) I’m so happy with SweetHome. I pray Dr. Swope never leaves! She’s just the BEST!

Sweet Home Veterinary Hospital are the BEST! They have the nicest, kindest most knowledgeable Veterinarians in Southern California. Dr. Swope, Dr. Perez, Dani, Joel & the staff have saved my dog Pumbaa's life & help keep her healthy. They performed 3 cancer surgeries and they always treat Pumbaa like she was their own pet. They explain everything and they always keep the prices low & reasonable which for a single mom is so important. They know how much our pets mean to us & always treat you like family. They also have an amazing staff that prioritizes you & your pets needs. I've been going to Sweet Home Veterinary Hospital since they opened. Fyi they dogs, cats, treat farm animals and birds. Sweet Home Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinary hospital in So-Cal. They are kind, gentle & have the best prices when treating my dog Pumbaa & kitten Tiggy. They're always able to see Pumbaa when an emergency arises. They've saved Pumbaa's life a few times after being diagnosed with 2 forms of Cancer. They have done 5 successful surgeries to remove the cancer regrowths. They always treat my pets like their own. I love this veterinary office!

Today My sweet Midnite went to join the afterlife with kind help from SweetHome Vets. In the last few days her condition got worse.. she would not eat and her shakey little legs can break your heart.

18 years ago I found her at the shelter...she had 1 day left! Since then she has been our best buddy and overlord a worthy foe with the sweetest disposition. My sweet Midge got a seat at the Creators table.

Dr. Birr and Dr. Swope are awesome. They both take time to listen and treat my pets like they were their own. I LOVE the fact that Dr. Swope makes house calls. I have not used the service yet, but I like knowing that I have the choice should I need to use it. I also really like the new online medication ordering process.

I have two elderly kitties that are IBD kitties. Brothers that I adopted 18 years ago when I got my own place in my last year of college. She also came to my house and I really felt that my dog was in the best hands as she was doing a thorough check over to make sure to identify if there were any other problems.
